Well, it’s official. Corinne can crawl. Last night, she took off down the hallway. This morning, she managed to open the door and crawl out of the bathroom while we were getting ready for work. She started out her ninth month scooting and “crawling” backwards, but it hasn’t taken long for her to figure out how to scoot and now crawl forward almost wherever she wants to go. She has also started pulling herself up on things slowly but surely. We also believe she has impeccable eyesight as she has managed to find every spec of randomness on our carpet and has attempted to put it in her mouth. We spent a whole evening after she went to bed cleaning all of the specs and various wires and things in hopes to once again baby-proof our home.
Corinne’s two top teeth came in this past week. Between crawling or pulling herself up on things, she will have her hand or another toy in her mouth trying to make those gums feel better.
This past month, we have been busy and have traveled to North Carolina for a family reunion. Cici broke her poor knee so we made a few unplanned trips to San Antonio to help out. Corinne helped bring cheer and love and lots of smiles to Cici and aunts and uncles and cousins she hadn’t met before.

Corinne is learning all kinds of new tricks and talents. She loves to feed herself and even gets a little miffed if you eat in front of her without sharing with her. She will eat just about anything you put in front of her. And over the past few weeks, she is starting to use a sippy cup. She has an infectious smile that brings joy to so many people. We love our girl!!!
Way to go Corinne! Now the fun really begins. No wonder how much baby proofing you do they always seem to find something to get into. Your vacation looks awesome, what a clan you have. Happy Father’s Day Josh!
